MXN JAPAN has secured an exclusive partnership with custom keyring brand 'taag,' spearheading its Japanese expansion with the simultaneous launch of a Kichijoji flagship store and official online shop powered by an OMO strategy.
The Japanese market remains an area of opportunity for many brands, but its structure makes it difficult to achieve sustainable results through simple exports or short-term pop-up stores alone. Accordingly, a market entry approach that integrates both online and offline strategies has recently become increasingly important.

Amid this trend, MXN JAPAN has signed an exclusive sales and distribution agreement in the Japanese market with the custom keyring brand “taag,” based on its operational experience and accumulated data. In March 2026, it will simultaneously open a flagship store and an official online store in Kichijoji, Tokyo. This move goes beyond a simple store launch and represents a strategic expansion premised on the brand’s long-term establishment in the market.
“taag” is an experiential custom keyring brand that began in Seongsu, Seoul in 2024. By allowing customers to combine various parts and complete their own products, it places personalized experience itself at the core of its value. This characteristic, combined with social media spread, has driven rapid growth centered around Generation Z, while its offline stores have also generated strong visitor demand as “experiential spaces.”
